Featured DOW Projects

Fort Campbell

Fairchild Air Force Base — Spokane, WA

Focused on force protection and operational resilience, this 136,600-sq-ft upgrade involved replacing and realigning air-handling units. Work was scheduled exclusively on weekends to minimize disruptions, and infection control barriers ensured safe, uninterrupted healthcare delivery.

Lackland AFB Medical-Surgical Training Facility — TX

At Lackland AFB, Kroeschell managed mechanical design for a 37,842-sq-ft medical-surgical training building. Our work enhanced training environments for military medical professionals—completed safely, on time, and without disrupting patient care.

Aero-Medical Facilities Earthquake Renewal & Repair — Elmendorf AFB, AK

After the 7.0 magnitude earthquake of 2018, Kroeschell led a full-scale renewal of the 8,700-sq-ft Aero-Medical Building. Our team managed architectural design, mechanical systems, and quality assurance to restore full operational capability within a year (Dec 2019 – Dec 2020).

Medical Facilities Renewal & Repair — Barksdale AFB, LA

Kroeschell oversaw mechanical design and project management for a 155,831-sq-ft medical complex, replacing air-handling units, chillers, boilers, and modernizing the JCI building automation system. The upgrades enhanced energy efficiency, reliability, and patient care—critical to sustaining mission readiness.

Bedded Hospital AHU-3 & AHU-4 Replacement — Fort Carson, CO

For the 49,995-sq-ft hospital upgrade, our team designed and built a new mechanical penthouse and installed two new surgical air handling units while maintaining full facility operations. By executing construction in four controlled phases, patient care continued without interruption—demonstrating Kroeschell’s commitment to continuity and care.
